RETROTEC ROOM INTEGRITY TEST
Room Integrity Test (Door Fan Test)
Room Integrity Test or Door Fan Test measures the tightness of the room to minimize leakage of fire suppression system agents such as HFC-227ea, FK-5-1-12 and Inert Gas. Excessive leakage of these fire suppressants is one of the major causes of fire suppression system failures as insufficient suppressants are in the enclosure to extinguish the fire or to prevent re-ignition of fire.
NFPA2001 Requirements
In the case of clean agents, NFPA 2001 specifies a minimum concentration of 85% of the adjusted minimum design concentration held at the highest height of protected content within the enclosure for a period of 10 minutes.
